Registration for these events are through NSBA’s MyNSBA portal.  You will need your username and password.  If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Your Password to reset. 

New This Year

NSBA Leadership Seminar will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, and will be followed on Sunday by the NSBA Advocacy & Equity Institute February 2-4, 2025. 

We have made it more efficient to register for both events at once.  Simply select the Bundle and you will be automatically registered for both events.

Things to Remember:

  • Review and update your state association roster prior to registering your attendees to ensure the badges are correct.
  • Registrations and expenses for members of the NSBA Board, who serve as state association leaders, will be covered by NSBA.  Please do not register them as a part of your delegation.

NSBA Leadership Seminar 2025 - February 1, 2025

The NSBA Leadership Seminar was established to focus on state association leadership topics and leadership core competencies.  The program provides opportunities for personal leadership style exploration and introspection as well as skill-building.

This opportunity to convene with peers from across the country to re-examine the impact of your leadership combined with the opportunity for valuable regional networking makes the 2025 Leadership Seminar a can't miss event!  We are looking forward to a unique program that will allow you to explore leadership concepts and skills tied to organizational collaboration, shared vision, and innovation.

Registration - Registration for this event is solely online and should be completed by January 9, 2025.  All registrations must come through the state school boards association with the approval of the Executive Director.

  •  State Association or International Partner Officers/Leaders - $300
  •  State Association Executive Director/Staff - $300 

Your registration includes:

  • Reception 
  • Breakfast, lunch and breaks on Saturday, February 1, 2025

Cancellation Language - Request for refunds of the conference registration fee (minus a $75 service fee) can be honored only if made in writing to NSBA at info@nsba.org by Thursday, January 9th, 2025. No refunds will be honored after that time. If you cancel your registration past the deadline, you are still responsible for any unpaid balance; unpaid invoices will be moved forward in our collections process. You can elect to have another member from your district attend in the event you are unable to. Please feel free to email us at memberservices@nsba.org with any questions you may have regarding your Advocacy & Equity Institute registration.

Location & Reservations

Housing - Marriott Marquis Washington is located at 901 Massachusetts Avenue, Washington, DC. A copy of the housing link will be provided in your meeting registration confirmation. 


Airport Information
Washington Interntional Airport (DCA) is approximately 16-20 minutes from the hotel.  The Marriott Marquis Washington does not offer courtesy van services. You can get taxi service at the commercial curb outside baggage claim, use a ride-share app or take the WMATA metro system.
