2019 OSAED Summer Institute


The OSAED Summer Institute provides an opportunity to for state association executives to network, inform, and inspire with programming and activities uniquely designed to address educational leadership and association management issues from a state school board association perspective. 


Ground Transportation The San Diego International Airport is about 26 miles from the Rancho Bernardo Inn 17550 Bernardo Oaks Dr, San Diego, CA 92128. Attendees have a number of options for transportation including SuperShuttle, rental cars, taxis, and Uber/Lyft. Meeting Attire 
Please note that the meeting attire is business casual; suit jackets and ties are not needed for men, but may be required for a local upscale restaurant. The average temperature in San Diego during this time averages mid- to high-70s during the daytime and around mid- to high-60s in the evening. Meeting participants may wish to bring a light jacket, wrap, or sweater for sessions taking place in the hotel—temperatures in hotel meeting rooms can tend to be on the cool side.

There are a number of things to do in and around San Diego while you are there.  Please visit the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau for a list of possibilities.  When onsite, the hotel concierge can also assist you in making reservations.
