Accountability and Progress reports focus on illustrating progress toward student achievement goals, growth, and improvement. They highlight areas of success as well as report areas that have fallen short of targets. The following districts have developed accountability and progress reports that are designed to communicate accountability data in simple and transparent ways.

This accountability and monitoring report begins with comparison charts showing the district’s performance against that of similar districts. The data is then presented using graphs and color to show growth of student cohort groups, grade level results, and subgroup results from one year to the next. Tiering Report
This report illustrates where growth has occurred within schools in the district. While the “tiering” and “bubbles” ideas might be a bit difficult to understand without verbal or written explanation, the concept of displaying the information in scatter plots that allow looking at relationships between two factors is interesting.
