Each year Mental Health America pulls together resources into a toolkit to help individuals, organizations, and communities come together to help us normalize conversations about mental health, and most importantly help individuals who may be struggling in reinforcing they are not alone. We all know that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the mental health of people of all ages. Now, more than ever, it is critical to reduce the stigma around mental health conditions, because that stigma often prevents individuals from seeking help.

In 2022, the theme is Back to Basics, with the goal of providing foundational knowledge about mental health and mental health conditions, plus information about what people can do if their mental health is a cause for concern.

Download your copy of the toolkit at www.mhanational.org/may to access all of these resources.

The toolkit includes sample materials for communications and social media, including graphics, as well as printable handouts on the following topics:

✏️ Starting to Think About Mental Health
✏️ What Plays a Role in Developing Mental Health Conditions⠀
    ✏️ Maintaining Good Mental Health⠀
✏️ Recognizing When You Need Help with Your Mental Health
✏️ What To Do When You Need Help
