The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) has released a new policy report revealing 2020 trends in cybersecurity legislation and calling for additional government support in 2021 to ensure that school districts can protect their networks, students and staff from future cyberattacks.
The report, designed for edtech leaders and policymakers, highlights the importance of digital safety due to the increased role of remote and blended learning in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, adding that the trend is likely to continue for years to come.
