Mental Health America (MHA) is dedicated to engaging with youth whenever possible. Most recently, MHA's research has found that only 1 in 4 young people believe they can make a difference in the mental health of their communities, despite increased interest in addressing mental health in this age group.

To empower young people to become agents of change, MHA has developed the Youth Engagement Survey. This survey focuses on filling the gap between interest and impact in mental health by developing "how-to" guides providing the necessary know-how, tools, and guidance to aid youth in their advocacy.

To help in providing students with more voice feel free to use your networks to get this survey in front of more young people! MHA has created this toolkit to help promote the survey. To create the most responsive resources, the survey is designed to identify the most pressing concerns, needs, and goals of young mental health advocates. Based on feedback, MHA will create a guide to getting started in mental health advocacy using the formats and topics that are most resonant with survey respondents.

If you have any questions regarding the survey, contact Kelly Davis at kdavis@mhanational.org. The survey closes on April 30th.
