NSBA’s Council of School Attorneys presents its annual School Law Seminar April 2-4, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The Seminar offers school attorneys 11+ hours of Continuing Legal Education credit on important legal topics facing public school boards.
The COSA School Law Seminar offers a specialized CLE experience for attorneys representing K-12 public school boards, providing valuable insights and practical advice from experienced practitioners on the key legal issues currently facing public schools. The 2020 School Law Seminar Planning Committee is designing a program filled with topics on issues you regularly address – student rights and discipline, labor and employment, special education, school business issues and governance – plus current hot topics like data security, the latest on Title IX rule changes, artificial intelligence in public schools, speech in an election year, AND two sessions of legal ethics!
Join us for our longstanding pre-seminar meetings for in-house and state association counsel. These gatherings include lunch and require a separate registration and fee. Registration is limited, so sign up as soon as possible.
Early Bird sessions on Thursday afternoon will feature topics in two tracks: 1) Students; and 2) Labor and Employment. These sessions will be offered for CLE, so be sure to attend.
