The National School Boards Association (NSBA) invites you to attend the “Public Education Agenda for America’s Success,” a forum sponsored by NSBA and the National School Boards Action Center. This event will occur on Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 2 pm-4 pm at Hotel George & Bistro Bis, located at 15 E Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20001.
A panel of experts dedicated to shaping education policy will exchange perspectives on the best way to ensure that all schoolchildren have access to a high quality public education. In light of the upcoming Inauguration of a New Administration, this is the right time to propose an agenda that supports our greatest and most precious resource – America’s schoolchildren. The passage of the Every Student Succeeds Act, the landmark legislation passed by Congress in December 2015, holds great promise to support these children and bring about a bright future. That accomplishment should just be the start for developing a meaningful education agenda. Join us to find out what we need to do next.
